I am late on making my mortgage payments, but having been sending them half a payment every 2weeks?

But still treating to foreclose what my rights?I am late on making my mortgage payments, but having been sending them half a payment every 2weeks?
If your mortgage is in arrears, you are always under the threat of foreclosure. Few lenders would actually foreclose if you were only 2 weeks late; standard practice is 3 full months of unpaid mortgage payments.

Stay in contact with your lender. The worst thing that you can do is ignore them. Let them know that you are well aware of your obligations and have every intent to make your payments, but that money is tight right now. Give them a date that you can make up any missed payment and then deliver on or before that date.I am late on making my mortgage payments, but having been sending them half a payment every 2weeks?
I can't say this strongly enough...call them and see if they will help you to work out this problem.

Lenders do not want your house. It's nothing but trouble for them if they have to foreclose. If you're making a good faith effort to make your payments, they may be able to modify your mortgage so that you can make half payments. I make my payments every other Friday, so I make 13 payments (26 half payments) a year.

BTW, when you said treating to foreclose, did you mean threatening to foreclose or treating like a foreclosure?

But don't ignore them. They want you to keep making your payments, and keep your house, and they may be willing to work with you toward that end.
So long as your are making the full mortgage payment every month that is what matters, if you are in arrears you can negotiate with them to pay extra on top of your mortgage payments to clear th arrears. If you are in the UK they cannot generally threaten repossession if you are less than two months behind.
If you are behind on your mortgage payments or having a hard time paying, you can avoid foreclosure. We can help you save your home through loan modification. Email me your address and telephone number so I can call you. Let's see how we can help save your home.
